Losing oil pressure after run
At the end of a run, when I let off, I lose oil pressure breifly and it then comes back. I have tried the stock LS pan, and two different pans with all kinds of baffles and trap doors. Pickup height is correct. Adding oil does not seem to help. I have run as little as 4qts and as much as 6 qts. It has great oil pressure thoughtout the run and any other time. Has anyone run into this before? Has anyone restricted the pickup tube to control the oil flow?
Thanks!

Ive had alot of oil pressure problems with the stock pans. This year i went to a moroso and all my probems went away. The moroso has a rear sump that is included with the pan and it also holds 8qts not 6qts like they advertise.

Thanks guys. I have been away from my computer for a couple of days.
Our LT1 Stockers and Super Stockers do not have this issue at all.
I do not believe the Moroso pan is appoved for NHRA Stock. I would hate to run that much oil.

I had a simular issue that went away after going to a thinner oil. I know it isn't anything you haven't thought of, but I just thought I'd mention it again. Also I know Harland was having som problems with oil moving up the back of the block on one of there cars that was launching with a Trans Brake so you might just contact him also. Y2Khawk is his name on here if you don't know him. Good luck.
