Default Pushbutton Engine Start Mod How To

About 6 years ago a guy named Pitre came up with a mod where he took a Honda S2000 engine start button and put it in his Camaro. He did a really nice writeup with pics and quite a few guys including myself did this mod. Since then his writeup has gone MIA. I've noticed a quite a few posts asking how to do this. I decided since its a rainy day to do a write up. It was 5 years ago that I did this so I dont have any actual install pics to show. I belive I am 95% correct in my info here but if I am not feel free to correct me and I will change it. I did this up in Word and have posted it to my FQuick garage. I had no experiece with electrical when I did this and I found it quite easy. I have also added to Pitre's orignial mod with my own starter disable switch. Enjoy.

I think around 40-50 bucks depending where you get it. Thats for the Honda button. Any normally open button/spring return toggle switch would work though.

Does this only work on an A4? Or will it work on an M6 as well? Also must you insert the key into the normal start switch then push button? I can see doing this if it negates the use of a key totally, but otherwise seems kinda silly-but cool.

It works on both M6's and A4's. You must still insert the key and turn it to the run position.

Would there be a way of using the new vette system in an Fbody? From what Ive seen all you need to do is have a keyfob with the right signal and then push the start button
