tying gunmetal zr1's into an appearance theme?
alright I am kinda tired of my wheels and got quite a few offers, one being for some gunmetal zr1's 17x9.5 with 11's in the back. I kinda like them but dont know how you would tie them into a theme with the car, seems like they might seem out of place? so the question is do you guys think its possible to make them look good on a red Z? if so how?

Definitely would NOT have a problem pulling that off on a red Z. My buddy Tony had a lowered red Z with gunmetal 5-star 18s and it looked insanely SICK!!!
You could always add accents (like stripes or manta) to tie it in even better.

personally i think some 35th anniversery stripes in gunmetal would look sick and you could pull them off well with the flat hood and that would definately help tie everything together with the addition of some rear fill-ins.

to me, gunmetal is one of those colors where you dont have to do anything else to the car accent wise to match it. it just flows by itself.
although a VHN Sunoco syle hood would look bitchin along with some gunmetal or black accent stripes on either side of the hood cowl
