Default Cleaning Chrome Rims w/Hard Water Spots

What is the best way to clean chrome wheels that have hard water spots on them? I tried simple car wash and then just warm water and a microfiber towel but am not getting the spots/marks/deposits off.

Is there some kind of cleaner or chemical that I can use that won't harm the chrome?

Thanks.

Try chrome polish and a microfiber.

that was my next plan. would it be okay to use the mothers power ball on the chrome? although im sure it would make my job a lot easier, im concerned it may harm the chrome finish...

claybar is a good idea. however the wheels have a lot of tight spots that would be really hard to get to with the claybar

You should be fine with the powerball, just make sure to use the right polish. I've used mine on my car before. Make sure it's nice and clean, and not to jam it into any areas lol.

Just use a small piece of the clay on the end of your finger for the tight spots.

be careful, it doesn't take much effort to wear right thru the chrome finish. I would do it by hand with chrome polish. the less abrasive the better when it comes to chrome.

I use Mother's chrome polish applied by hand with a microfiber with excellent results.
