Question Cracked Dash?!?!

ok i got in my car yesterday and i noticed that my dash was cracked all the way from the windshield to the airbag on the passenger side. the only thing that i know of that could have happened to it was that i had my subs on earlier in the day and it busted it. anyway my question is: Does a 98-02 camaro have the same top part of the dash (the part with the vent on the top for the defrost) as a 94-02 firebird does and if so will it fit in place of my busted one? My uncle has a totaled camaro and i can get parts off it.

FWIW I just installed a dash from a 98 Camaro(junkyard) into my 99 TA and it fit perfectly. Shade was off but it didn't matter to me as I painted it.

fbodyrs96 did you install the whole dash or just the piece on the top with the vent in it?

Nope. 93-96 match up and 97-02 match up. there is a small piece on the front middle closer to the passenger side that is rounded on 97-02s and squared on 93-96s.
