Default Smoothed Valve Covers++

Here are mine finished!

I left the rearest tab on because i was going to mount my relo kit there but i have changed my mind, i am going to mount it under the whiper cowl. Installed pics on car will come when i put the motor back in the car.

All steps were tack ragged and waited on flash times.

Thanks, Pheonix

Primer

After sanding the primer with 400grt and spraying it red where Trans Am decals go.

Black base sprayed over the entire piece.

Peeling off the decals to expose the red letters.

After peeling.

Finished product after two coats of clear.

Came out great, dude. Can't wait to see your beast on the road...

BTW, now you've got me considering a relocation kit.

Holly crap! Absolutely the best set of valve covers i've seen painted.

I just re-installed mine after some valve train work...I did do a touch-up re-spray of black paint - but It looks nothing like your set.

I might need to remove them and re-do the project.

Thanks! I dont have a write up. I did not take pics from the beggining when i was cutting the tabs and sanding them down. If i do another set i will most defenately do a write up. If you need some help with yours you can PM me at any time.
