Corvette seats?

Corvette seats?
I was just at the corvette site and I noticed they sport seats. They look very nice and utilize the same controls. I am wondering how easy they are to hook up, has anyone done it? The seats in my ws6 are not bad at all, the exchange is just a thought. The trick would be to find some in a wrecked or junked corvette in black leather. Wonder how much GM is charging for those babies.

Sorry but its a customers car, but the length from the seat mounting bolts are 21 1/8 inches center to center. I forgot to get the width Ill check again.

The question I would have is would Corvette seats fully recline.. I mean why would GM make them so they do since there is no way for them to recline in a vette... Plus I would imagine that they cost a fortune.. from a cost standpoint I think one would be better off going aftermarket..
That TA with the vette seats looks good

Well the option from GM for the sport seats is 700 bucks. I just need t check some local junkyards. Maybe I'll go down to Mass. one day or call some places. Problem is they have to be black, I'm going to get a quote from the chevy guy down the road.

Re: Corvette seats?
I have these seats in my LS1 powered S10 P/U. They recline and fold forward for access to the rear seat. I replaced the Corvette mounting tabs with a set from my truck. The electrical hook-up is very easy. Only a power and ground, plus the seat belt wires. All the controls are located in the seat.
