Has anyone tried UV LED lights in gauges & interior?
Just curious.

I put them in my GFs car. They came out pretty well, but they kind of make the numbers in the gauges blurry and they dont put off as much light as normal leds. Its not really a problem at night, but during low light day times it seems a little dim. We go them from superbright leds

Hawk, I did the UV gauge bulbs (from superbrightleds.com) on my car friday night..... They're now for sale for $20 shipped. Get my gist? They didn't do AT ALL what I hoped for. Not bright enough to light gauges to be seen. My new custom needles are still the best bet.

Anyone interested in the bulbs?

Which type did you get; the 5-LED; didn't see that they made it in a 6-LED.
I am now thinking of going with "cool white" LED's & behind overlay installing colored film for the color on numbers, dail, etc.
For the bezel & drop shadow graphics on the overlay, I am putting in a Camaro "open" bezel in the Hawk. But, I might just order a new overlay with the present "GP".

That looks "space age" cool. How is it driving around, like being in a Blacklight.

The LEDs in the dome light are individual ones. The rest are LEDs flex strips. I got them on Oznium.com.
