I love the LT1 WS6 hood thats why i added it to mine. i wouldn't have put it on unpainted though. mine sat in the garage unpainted (oem prototype) for 3 months until spring. once the salt was off the roads the car was taken to the body shop.
Are you going to add a functional ram air box?

She's a keeper!
I'm surprised at how well that looks to be fitting. I had a Suncoast that they took back because of a defect in the re-tooling of the older molds that wouldn't allow it to bolt to the hinges, It looked really nice but still had slight fitment issues. Even the OEM hood I have now needed a little work and my car has never been in an accident, I am the original owner.
As subtle as it may seem, It really makes the car. It does start a whole new can of worms as far as bodywork and painting. I wound up re-painting half the car!
I also have the airbox and it is a nice way to go, especially from stock. You may need another Birthday this year...

hmm. that must only be on certain colors. my car has several different ranges of paint on it, original 15 year old paint on the doors, fenders, quarters and hatch, 4 year old paint on the rocker panel ground effects and rear bumper, 2.5 year old paint on the front bumper, and 1.5 year old paint no the hood, headlight doors and roof panel and you can't tell. I know red can be a PITA because my old 93 tbird SC had some color match problems after an incorrectly blended color was used on part of it.

the original bumper met its demise in 06 when a car wash damaged it by hitting what i think was a trailer hitch on a truck. since the bumper had been painted in 05 they didn't think they could fix it without the paint cracking again so a new bumper was put on.
bumper no 2 was destroyed by a bale of hay in june 2007. so at the time that pic was taken (which was ~ 3 months after the hood was painted/installed) the bumper had only been on there about a year and my car isn't a DD and is stored winters so it didn't have many miles on it (maybe 4-5k)
