OHHH, i think everyones confused with the wording of your question. the "CETA" term should only really be used in 2 ways.
1) to refer to an actual CETA- Collectors Edition Trans Am
2) to refer to the mod of painting the section of the Trans Am bumper that wraps around the exhaust. or in a formulas/v6's case, the area around the lisence plate, the mini CETA mod

so by using the word ceta everyones mind usually go straight to the painted section. since thats the main time that term is used, atleast in the appearance section.

-if i'm correct, it seems as though you are asking about swapping out the entire rear bumper from a T/A and putting it on your formula? if thats the case, NO, theres nothing wrong with that at all, and people do it all the time, and it looks great. just like swapping out the rear hatch, or trading up to a WS6 hood.

I plan on painting the "mini-CETA" mod on my bumper some day.
If you swap bumpers the lower lip wont match up to anything. It'll look kinda funny IMO.
