Default Upgraded T/A Fog Lights?!?

i have seen many people talking about them but i havent really seen any pictures of them finished. im looking to fill the gap alittle and get rid of the plastic housing since i want to go the HID route soon and dont want to melt anything.
so who ever has pics post them up

i found glass housing fog lights on ebay that were the exact same size as ours bolted them on and put in hid's otherwise it melts the stock housings i forget the size of our fog lights look it up and then search ebay mine had a red halo ring to i didint wire it up i dont have any pics they look the same but glass

i put my HID's in the stock housings and didnt have any problems, ran them whenever the headlights were on. 8000k

I have had a hid's in myfogs for a year now and the housing's look the same to day as the day i installed them. just did the head light to night

I wanted to put HID's in my stock housings also. I know they run hotter and would melt the housings but its a drag car only for the most part and would only be on for short periods for only a few times a year.

First question that comes to mind is whether you really want fog lights for fog, or just as auxiliary lighting for when you drive.

If you are looking for real fog lights, it's not the case that popping a HID into a housing actually outperforms non-HID bulbs in a good housing. Check the lighting FAQ. You can also check out the Fog upgrade I did to Hella fogs.

If all you want are aux driving lights, then there are other options.

I ran HID's in my stock housings, daily driver, used fogs ALOT...never had an issue with the stock housings
