Default ws6 hood on formula?

Alright, I just got a ws6 hood on my formula. I got it painted white and the metal stuff where the nose is, also got hit white. Instead of painting it black, i was thinking about just removing that material for more air flow. Would that be a bad idea? I think it would look way better too...

I know what you're talking about.. Is it a GM Hood or aftermarket?

"Hit white" means that he got overspray or sprayed his vent guards in the front of the hood..

Yes, you understand. Sorry for my typos, I'm on my phone. The hood is aftermarket

you mean where the ram air should be? yeah you can cut it out, but make sure it will be ok structurally because i've seen an aftermarket hood that look like it would break around the hoodlatch if it was cut. call the manufacturer i'm sure they can tell you

Well, its a true ram air and has holes where air can get through. It's just painted white and I figure it would look better removed...

Yes.. It has grills..

I'd be iffy to cut them out, just because of the look and what not, if not only the structure..

Look at emblempros.com and see if you can get one of their overlays to fit over the grills.. They make a polished piece as well as other acrylics.

Just get new grilles for them. You may need to tape it off and spray the mounting parts black so the grilles don't have white showing through the edges though.
