Default Winter Detail Projects w/ pics!

Just thought I would post some of my fall/winter projects. Just want to see what you guys think. Some of the pics were taken with my iphone, so the quality might not be so great on some.

1. While I was rebuilding the front end thought I would repaint & powder the brake calipers and brackets (Front & Back).
Before

After

2. Also decided I want to go back to an all polished wheel. So ordered some blingmaster and went to work. Before picture (Above)

Now we move under the hood. Powdered valve covers and coil brackets. Painted coils and Intake. Wire Mod. Filled & repainted shock tower. Rerouted PCV. AC delete. Please excuse the unfinished engine bay. Waiting to get my P/P & Powdered TB and Pwdr fuel rail back from Silverghost. Will Post Pics when it is all put back together.

Before

During

After

I know these are a performance mod, but they look so good just had to post um up.

Currently working on Polishing my N20 solenoids and N20 line fittings. Hopefully they will turn out ok. They should look better than the scuffed up look anyhow. Thanks for looking. Opinions and advice welcomed.

Sorry about the pics guys. Didn't realize it would do that. Fixed it for ya.
Paint is just rattle can Duplicolor Wheel Paint. Have always seemed to have good luck with it and it seems very durable and matchs pretty well. Suppose to hold up to some decent temps so we'll see how it does on the intake. That doesn't get to hot so I think it should be ok.

Looks great. What kind of a detail process do you do on your exterior paint?

Nice, I like your Forgelines. I think they would look better without the center cap though.

You know I thought about that myself. I might have to try and see if I can polish out the center and see what it will look like with chrome lug nuts. Or are you talking about leaving the plate on and leave the hole in the center?

You might have given me my next project.

Yeah just used the Duplicolor wheel paint and the clear. Have had good luck with it so far. We'll see how it holds up on the intake.
