the non-berger thread.
ok so i noticed recently that i am not alone in the thought that the berger panel belongs on true GMMG berger camaro's. now that is just an opinion, and if it makes you happy then hell i don't care if u paint a pink berger on your car, go for it. i'm just sayin a camaro's *** can look good with out the berger mod. and IMO it looks better with out it. hopefully i can make some of the members out there aware of the choices they have, and not to give into peer pressure
so really this thread is to discuss the different options/opinions, and post pictures of non-berger camaro's.
mine:
i have RKsport fill ins. mainly because they have a 3D look.

well i'm about to switch back to a y-pipe set up(i got a ticket because of my dumps)and it's gonna have hooker dual/dual tips. hopefully that'll set off the rear a little. also will eventually do tinted tails. maybe lt1 tails.
but i'm not gonna do CME on this SS. my other SS is also LPM and it has CME(SLP). so i don't want both cars looking the same.

i had always thought it would look cool to cut out the letters in camaro and use that "tailight black out paint" on a peice of red plexiglass and glue it to the inside of the panel and run a light to it from the taillight so during the day it would just be camaro in black letters but at night when your taillights are on it would light up and would say "camaro" in red letters. i saw a teacher of mine in hs last year do something like this to his 90's model nissan 300Z

Those RKsport fill-ins look nice! I have some sitting in the package here waiting for my car, but it's too cold to put them on.
I don't have a problem with the Berger panels, although they're not my favorite. They look great on first gen cars though. And although they are called Berger panels, the 67 and 68 model SS cars had blacked out panels...

yeah berger chevrolet copied the 1st gen cars. and the whole idea of the GMMG program was to copy the copo and yenko camaro's from the 60's. or to run with that same idea at least.
btw guz, those letters look sick!
