Default New Interior Seats

I got some old tan powered seats redone. Final all installed. The guy did a great job and now I have powered seats, all the wiring was already in the car.

Installed seats

looks great, nice tight leather. I'm usually against piping but it doesn't look bad on your seats.

Damn those look good. . . . That puts the OEM style to shame. . .

How much did this run you total?

I agree, it is probably because they didn't put the piping on every single seam.

Looks really good!

looks pretty good however i would have had the side bolster pieces painted and installed on the new leather. When i had mine redone last year i had them cut the original pieces off and reuse them. they didn't need painted since i went with the oem color.

Prices really depend on where you are guys, if you want to know how much yours would be all you have to do is drive to an upholstery shop, they can give you a decently accurate quote in about 5-1o minutes. His prices could be way different from what yours would be.

Wow, those look great! I like the piping, and they def add some color to the interior!

Question: Are T/A seats a worthwhile upgrade for a Formula with power seats?

Looks great. If you could throw up a ballpark price that would be awesome.

StuntmanMike: I personally prefer the base seats more than the current premium seats I have. I worked on a 01 TA with leather seats without the bolsters the other day. I would love to trade for those. To each their own though.

i know for mine the upholstery was $425 from hawks and i spent $450 at the shop having them sew the bolster pieces in and install the upholstery and assemble the front seats. it was originally supposed to be $250 for the sewing/install but i had to take them back to have the seats assembled since i couldn't get anything to line up. i was a bit annoyed when they charged me another $200

very tastefully done. looks way better without the gills IMO, and i do think the piping actually works this time (not a fan on f bodies)
