Clear Corners for Trans Ams
Can anybody tell me where i can get some clear turn signals for my TA? Also would clear corners look good on a red WS6? I saw some on a pic but dunno if they would look good.

PS Does anybody know if you can get the clear license plate covers anymore? I heard they stopped making them but was wondering if anybody was going to do another run of covers?

clear lenses for the amber and red side lenses can be found at afterthoughtsauto(.com). they are one of our gracious sponsors-------------------->
I have these lenses on my black trans am. the red lights for the back lenses look pinkish red which is bothering me right now.
Personally i would not change your turnsignals(aka running lights) from amber to clear. F-bods and corvettes are trademarked by their amber running lights, i think their pretty cool.
I'm pretty certain afterthoughts auto made those front clear liscense plate covers with the bird but they are no longer in production. Give them a call, mabey they can help u out.

I changed out my drl's from amber to "whitish-blue". I think it gives the car a cleaner look. The amber lights on the drl's are not trademarked to TA's and Vette's. just drive down the street and EVERYONE has them now. Most of all the Pontiac line, Honda, etc.......
So to me the ambers are not very distinctive to them at all.

I painted the front and rear sidemarker lights with niteshades blackout paint, looks MUCH cleaner IMO.

When you change to LEDs you'll need an electronic flasher too. The thermal flasher that is in our cars will not work properly with LEDs. LEDs draw less power which confuses the thermal flashers. You can get the electronic flasher from AutoZone. I don't remember the P/N though.
