is it possible to change automatic shifter? is it possible to change a trans am shifter **** (automatic) with a camaro one? i dont mind the t-shifter but i kinda like how the button is on top on the camaro one. So would i have to just unscrew the **** and change out the **** and stick also like take apart the shifter? has anyone done this?

The **** itself is held on by a U shaped clip. The clip is located on the front and towards the bottom of the shift ****. It may be hard to see with the stiching. Use a small flat screw driver or sum needle nose plisers to pull the clip out. Once u get it out the **** should just slide off. Reverse the proses to put the camaro **** on.
