The passenger side is somewhat easy but the Driver side is a MAJOR pain in the *** just take your time to install them and ALOT of Cuss words, then you'll be fine Also remember to remove those black tabs that hold that rubber peice together under the front windshield

Key words........TAKE YOUR TIME

It took me about an hour to do it all also

After installing them once or twice, they became really easy to put in. Getting them to fit in the first place is the hard part. It takes some cutting and trial and error. As for actually putting them in.... it takes me 15-20 seconds to put in the passenger side, and a minute of so to put in the driver side. This is after putting them in and taking them out several times for cleaning and other engine work.

True, So true, ...

If you can't afford to do the Coil Relocation mod, then this is the thing to do, hide the ugly coil packs.

Watch the fuel purge valve on the drivers side during assembly/disassembly, it's easy to break it while fighting to get the fuel lines thru the slots. But they're only about $15-20 if you do, ..., Yea, I know, ..., But I won't do it again now that I've learned all about it, ...

Same thing with the new GTO FRC's. I opened the hood on one of them, snapped the drivers side off of the engine in a matter of seconds & reinstalled just as easily. Passenger side was just as easy. There's a lot more room underhood there because the engine doesn't sit back under the cowl area.

But I didn't have a pencil & paper to write down the damn GM part numbers, so I didn't even think it about at the time,

But they are pretty simple to do, once the cuts are made, ...
