I live in az and was wondering how well you think the replacement and adhesive will hold up in the summer? My friend has something simular in her trans am and she paid 250 for it and one good day in the sun not only lifted the adhesive but warped the piecex

This is just a cap that sits on top of the stock dash pad, right?
No plans to create an actual replacement dash pad?

I am interested in this, but the fact that is just sits ontop of the old dash pad wouldnt it not sit flush with the rest of the dash? I guess I will have to see it installed before I jump on it. I definitely need to replace mine or fix it..Its got a bad crack in it.

Is this the same one afterthoughts is selling? And if it mounts on top of the original dash I suppose it can't be used if the original is not still in one piece correct (that would be asking for more rattles or pieces coming off under the cover)? Mine is in pieces and would have to be replaced to use this anyway it seems, I don't think I can epoxy mine back together at this point LOL!

Sorry guys, this is a brand new product that I don't have first hand experience with yet...

We will NOT be making a full replacement because GM still does...

We tried CF ones but the glare makes it undriveable...

^ Is it a patent infringement or copyright thing with the GM pad? Seems to me as long as you dont use a duplicate mold you should be fine. what about offering one with a integrated gauge pod or change the shape? What does GM still making one have to do with you not making a better one?
