paint the lip black and the surrounding bolts green
leave it alone

and any ideas on the center caps???

imo I would leave the lip alone and maybe just do the bolts for a subtle accent to the body paint. I just checked out your other thread btw, lookin good!

thanks guys lets keep it coming!
I was totally dead set on painting the lips green til I went to a local car show, and honestly some cars with color matched lips looked like *** and it made me question the idea.

I say keep it simple and clean! How about just putting a green bird on your center caps and calling it a day? and everything else that you wanted to paint green why not use a decal to cover in green so if you dont like it peel it off.

can you post up pic of your car so we can get a better idea....

I voted painting the bolts green, looks great already and wouldn't want it to be overdone, however the green lip might look good. It would help to see a pic of the car as well.

Edit: oh and those are some nice wheels man

I was planning on option A on my Camaro with a set of Forgeline ZX3R's, so you can guess my vote. Same color and everything. Your gonna beat me to it.

Forgeline ZX3R's in Snakeskin Green Metallic:

(I can't seem to find the pictures I have of them on the Viper, but I will later)

Thanks for the pic! Nice to get a visual. I'm thinking doing just the outer flat facing part of the lip green. Almost like a wheel stripe going around it. Leaving the actual dish part silver.

I think that would look like ****, personally. Only if it were black. Pin stripes around the lip only look good on black rims. Otherwise it'll most likely be hard to see. I'd definitely get rid of the chrome (or what is polished? either way, I'd get rid of it).

x2 on what Mcnord said, the bolts/rivit things dont do anything for me, painting them and the center cap gets rid of the distractions and lets you focus on the overall rim design, and the green lip will give a nice pop.

and i agree with this, doing only the lip the way you described only really only looks right on all black rims, just do the entire polished area green
