Broken power seat
Is there anyway to move a power seat that is broken? I would guess the motor is fried. I can't get to all the bolts to replace the seat. Any help would be great.

Those are flex shafts. If you can't get to back of motor, then just yank out the flex shafts, throw in a drill motor, stick back in and move each track independently. Then I would put them back in just to make sure the track doesn't move on you. Try taping on that motor first, or throwing a power supply to it that you can bump up the voltage. Might just be frozen in one spot or track is sticky. Just another tip that we do here in the lab to make them move.

I couldnt think of the name of them but that sounds right... and if i remember correctly from when I recovered my seats, there is a square hole in the back of the motor where that flex shaft seats... the drill attached to the shaft will easily (and rather quickly) move the seat...

That happened to me once, I used a small screw driver to turn it while it was still in the car. I replaced the motor from a member here, he was willing to sell me one motor.
Bad part for me was I later found these little plastic things on the floor and now my seat rocks a bit. I bought my perfect SS seats from a super low mile wrecked Z and I gave him my old seats. Damn I wish I didn't. I heard they sell the plastic in the tracks but don't know where...GL
