Default wire mod for driver side frame rail and fuse panel?

Is there any way to hide or get rid of that awful mess on the drivers side frame rail under the hood on a 00 transam? I'm going all out on this paint job with graphics and air brushing outside and wrapping into the engine compartment and I don't want to have to astare at that garbage. Thanks

Just like the passenger side wire mod, you can drill a hole in the fender well near where the wires come through the fire wall. Pull you fuse blocks out of the plastic mount and remove the mount. Peel back the wire loom and electrical tape. Label the wires that run to the firewall, cut them. Run them thru the hole and back to the fuse blocks. Strip the wires and re-solder them together. Cover with liquid electrical tape thuroughly.

Might as well relocate the fuse blocks to the inside under the steering wheel!

There's around 50 wires, FYI. Oh and if you remove ALL of the wire loom and electrical tape, you'll have about half a mile of tape to remove! LoL I did it just for weight reduction! lol

I did it the long hard way, still working on getting it routed the way I want to keep all the right clearance and look.
you have to unplug the harness under the dash, and the connectors you did for the pass side wire mod.
pull the harness and cut a hole. it is a pain in the ***

Sounds like I'm in for some fun, is also like to eliminate the wires going across the core support as I am eliminating it and moving the radiator forward. I guess ill get the snips out and start cutting. Where would be a good place to go across the car? Also is anyone relocating the computer? What's involved with that

Some have said that they remove the passenger airbag and drill a hole in the firewall to pass the wires thru. It doesn't look like the wire is long enough to relocate that way tho. I'm afraid I'll have to splice when I do it. I'll just have to see when I get to it.
