Default Seat plastics paint??

Ok so I bought a pair of used 2000 tan leather seats, since they're tan I was going to restore them to white and black for my camaro and was wondering how do I paint the tan plastics black, since its vinyl I believe not sure what my options are? and the back carpet I belive the custom shop can do all the work??

Any suggestions, I want to get this exact same design except without the trans am logos since its going in my camaro

Get "Bullydog" which comes in a spray can. I think it is about $20.00 at any auto parts store. It is a plastic prep that you spray on the plastic pieces first which will make the dye you spray on adhere to it without any problems and they should not chip after that. Hope this helps.

Are you talking about painting the accordion side pieces that are on the front seat?

Are you talking about painting the plastic piece where the buttons are on the bottom left & Right side of seats?

If yes, then arm(left and right of center console where the seatbelt plugs into) are tan also.

Clean/degrease the panels before spraying. I don't think I scuffed it up, just wiped them down with Prep-All and sprayed 3 coats. Get the flat black if you want it to look like this. Gloss will make it look Armor-All'd 24/7

I had it on there for half a year before I sold it. I would bang the T-Tops against the painted panels and it wouldn't even scratch them. Worst case scenario, you pop them off, wipe them down, and spray another coat. If you're just doing the plastic on the seats you'll have plenty left over. Just save the can and watch your feet when you get into the car!

Those panels look great 98 WS6! I'll have to just spray mine. I was ready to swap my charcoal stuff out for ebony stuff. Thanks for the post!
