Default gen4 camaro taillight thread

My taillights are getting water in them, so its time to replace. I've always kept my eye out for what the aftermarket taillights are looking like, and to my dismay, they are for the most part FUGLY. I could be wrong, so i'm starting a thread to see what people are putting on and how it looks...

Stock replacements FTW. LS1 tail lights are my personal favorite, but LT1-style lamps look great as well and actually flow with the body lines better than LS1-style lamps. If you have a good amount of money to spend you could go for some export lamps, which look great as well and match the body lines perfectly. I would choose LS1 or LT1 over the exports because I dislike how the outermost portion of the lens is amber rather than red. Anyway, my obvious consensus is stockers FTW. I have yet to find a good-looking pair of aftermarket lamps...

Stock ls1 taillights are the easiest solution. LT1 taillights have smaller light sockets so you have to work them a little to get the LS1 light socket to plug in and the same goes for the exports but its not that hard at all. The only lights I prefer over LS1's are the exports.

Dry it up with a hair dryer then get some clear silicone and run across the top edge, problem solved....

I love my super clean OEM LT1 tail lights.

I went to 97+ but decided to go back.
