I'm a fan of the gloss black berger on orange and red cars, but I've tried a couple different setups on my panel.
First I put CF black inserts into my stock panel:
Then I picked up a spare panel and had it done in gloss black with orange inserts. I'm still using this setup now:

I'm just not that crazy about the Berger panel mod for some reason. I put LT1 tails in mine with some vinyl inserts from Brent Franker and am happy with how it came out.

Gloss black with red lettering and lt1 tails... I'm a little biased though lol.

It's what you like more, screw the rest of us honestly lol. In the end it's you who has to deal with it more than we do. But yeah I understand where you are coming from, got a few threads of my own asking for opinions. Has brought up some valid points that I didn't think of before as well. Good luck and hope you're happy with the end result.
