Which black halo ones are you referring to? The ccfl projectors or the stock style with the single Halo and black inside the assembly?

Here are mine they are the stock style single halo

Just showin what they look like with the halo on and how they look during the day

I got these from hawks third generation, install is simple, I have the halos wired into the driving lights and yes when I put them in originally I was using stock bulbs, no modifications needed, now am using HID's and they were direct fitment as well

I think bls offers halo's with their projector headlights. They can do a number of custom paint options too.

Yea bls does offer the option to add halos, but if you're happy with your light output now go with these, they are a little less than half the price of a set of bls

Being happy with the light output is subjective. The BLS setup uses a bixenon projector so the price comparison isn't apples to apples. Do you have any pics of the light output on a wall? I'm not cheerleading but with all the options available for these cars, its important to state all the pros and cons for each setup.

No doubt the bls housings are leaps and bounds better than these, especially if you're using HID's, I don't have any pics from when I had stock bulbs in these and taking one with the hid's would be pointless bc they scatter the light a lil too much, I plan on going with a bls setup one day but I just can't drop 400 bucks for headlight housings right now, which is the only reason I said if he's happy with his light output with stock ones he'd be happy with these, but if he wants the best and has the money for them bls would be the way to go.

If your concerned with light output do not get the ones that I have on my car currently. The r8 style. They look nice in the day but at night ugh want to beat my head against a wall.

^ Nice looking ride bro, the Whistler's look great on your black car! Especially with those rims...

I went with the BLS headlights... Blackbird Lighting Solutions, look them up!
