Default Finally painted hood and new rims on my TA

well after 2.5 years with the black fiberglass hood from VFN I finally got it painted to match.

I got sick of the WS6 speedlines with 275's on all fours so i picked up a set of ZR1's. Its really not what i wanted but got them at a killer deal with 315 Nitto555r's on the rear ..I needed 315's out back so i couldnt pass it up.

The Zr's are a slight change cause they are OE rims and somewhat look like the Speedlines but im happy for now.

whatcha think?

$450.00
its not perfect ....got some flaws in the job but way better than bare fiberglass.

tires and hood changed the whole appearance of the car.

Wow, talk about a huge improvement! I can't believe some people think it looks good to leave a hood black on a non-black car. ewww

17-11's rear with 315/35/17
17-9.5's front with 275/40/17

the before picture I had 1" wheel spacers on the rear.
the after picture I took them off and the rims sit perfectly flush with the quarter panels. Maybe about 3/8th inside the well which is perfect!

also, the front 9.5's are a tad wider than the stock speedlines so the tire is a little wider in the front

Yeah, they're 325's on a 20 inch wheel, so I'm still at a loss for traction. I don't think my Advanced Induction Dart/RHS heads are going to help any either.

I hope it works right for you. I will be adding a plate kit here shortly, but I'm not looking forward to all that wiring. I saw those pics you had and it looks like a pretty daunting task. Good luck.
