Default Want to install LED DTRL Switchbacks on 98 Trans Am

GOOD Morning Ls1 Tech. I had a couple questions about installing some LED daytime running lights in replace of the OEM. here is the loink, tell me what you guys think. they are the 7.5" Length, 800 lumen (with Turn Signal, with Dim)

what I did with mine was pretty simple, first I replaced the cracked housings, then I replaced the sockets that were bad due to water damage, then I got a set of LED amber bulbs and called it a day....not sure about using a strip....

Well I have seen this one guy on youtube that had a switchback behind his housing. I don't know if your relating to this but I Wasn't really to familer on what he did exactly.

I think it will look good.

1. You may have to open up the housings to remove that tab that separates the 3157 bulb and 194 bulb for this to fit (not hard at all).

2. The hard part will be to get it to get the right flasher , probably electronic (EL12) is the one I seen most people use for switchbacks.

in the video, that is a member's car here, danny2tek, what he did was use the switchback LED bulbs, let me see if I can find the thread about people doing that....
