Love it. I had the 4" cowl hood before, but that 3" is much nicer.

No, offhand, I don't know the weight. I might be able to find out though from the shipping ticket.

please post more pics if available or when done. I was thinking of selling my ultra z hood(uninstalled/unpainted) and getting one of these if it has the right body lines.

Okay, after checking, the hood weighs 42lbs. Not sure what the stock hood weighs. Anybody know? I will be posting pics after I get it home and cleaned. I like it alot, although the view out is gonna take some getting used to. I can say that the quality of the hood is excellent, and the only probs with fitment were related to previous bodywork done by the local dealer's bodyshop. (My wife had wrecked it a while back) The rear corners and the front edge had to be trimmed slightly, and locating holes had to be reamed out a little. This hood actually lines up better with the fenders than the old stock one! Best of all, It was FREE! I got it in an ins. settlement after the Z and the Ram Quad both got hail damage a couple of weeks ago. Good bodyshops that will work with you are SO COOL!

Yeah, I am using the stock hood struts for now. I'll see how it turns out. I do plan on putting some hood pics on, If I can find some black ones. I don't really want chrome ones on a black hood.

Thanks guys! I like it too, and I promise I'll post a couple of high res pics when I get it home, Maybe this weekend. The price was good too. It was $537 shipped to my door. Can't say from where, (It's not a sponsor, and I don't want to get into trouble)

I was planning on getting this hood a while back but decided to hold off to see this hood actually on. I think it has a good flow to it... but I'll still have to see the finished product.

Take pics of the whole car from more angles when you get a chance.
Since the car is black, and so is the hood, you get a good feel for the shape even without paint.
Thx
Dave

I like it. Never was crazy about cowl hoods on 4th gens, but that one flows pretty well. Like DVST8OR said, not to much, not too little

For all who liked it, I will be starting a new topic with 12 links to painted pics. Granted, I haven't touched the paint yet, no wax or buffing, I'm waiting for 2 months as per my painter. Hope this helps anyone who is interested in this hood, as I know pics are hard to come by.
