In need of foam washers for T/A spoiler
I have a 2000 Firehawk w/ the Trans Am high rise spoiler. I'm in the process of doing a full paint correction and coating. I removed the wing to clean/polish/coat the hatch under the wing and the bottom side of the wing.
Does anyone know where I can find the foam washers that go around the mounting bolts and the larger foam washer where the wiring from the 3rd brake light runs from the spoiler to the hatch?
I tried the dealership. The washers they sent were rubber and twice as thick as the small washers. They said the larger foam washer was discontinued.
I've been on the Google for a while now and have found some foam washers but I don't know if they are the correct size.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am in the same boat as you here. I was thinking about trying to buy foam circles with one sticky side in varying diameters and cutting them to size. I have no idea where I would find such a thing but they have to sell something somewhere lol.
I just google searched foam sponge adhesive pad and they come in sheets made for cut to fit applications

I found these any by the description they seem to be what we need but I'm still trying to find the dimensions on them.
I'm going to email them and see what size these are and if they have the size needed.

I haven't heard back from the company yet. I did some more googling and it seems the best bet might be going to a hobby store or a RC car store. Every website I've been to lists foam body washers for remote control cars.
I found some thin rubber washers at Lowes that are the same size but I don't know if there would be any problems with using rubber.

There's a big roll of thin soft foam tape available at home improvement stores like lowes/Home Depot that you can just cut to size/ shape and stick on. Done and done.
