Default White marks on door panels

They look like they could be from chalk or something. They are not, but best way I can describe them right now. Simple Green didn't work, warm water didn't work & 303 protectant helped some, but once that wears off, they will show through again.

Anyone else have these marks on any cars & how did you get rid of them?

Pics would help. Sounds like clear coat scratches or paint transfer from another car

Don't have pics now. I have the 303 on there so it won't show.I doubt it's either of those as this is the inside door panel...

Ohhhhhh I misread. I thought you were taking about the outer skin for some reason. Has to be just a scuff Mark then. Try a different cleaning product and see. Could still be a small scratch

Here is a pic of 1 of them. This is after applying 303.

That looks like a stress-crack feature in the plastic, ..., like there's something pushing on it from behind.
Is it firm behind it, & soft on each side, when you push on it in those areas?

Nope, the marks are not cracks.

Try putting some heat to it from a hair dryer. Be very careful not to overheat the plastic as it will bring the oils to the top and leave a shiny spot.

It's not a stress "crack" per say but a stress mark possibly. When you stretch or stress certain plastics with out heat they will turn white.

Another thought, since its by the door pull, is hand cream or lotion that either stained or stripped the color.

Not from stress. That just happened to be the one I took the pic of.
