Default Real carbon fiber, one-off, windshield wiper cowl.

I found this on the Boosted LSX sales page, and decided to jump at it. It's a custom, one-off carbon fiber wiper cowl that gives a smooth appearance to the car.

It's made for a factory ram air hood, but since I have the ws9 outlaw, the ram air scoops sit higher, but it still looks good.

Do I leave it black, or paint it pewter to match the hood?

Here's some more pics.

Awesome piece and I'm happy to say my t-tops never go on either. I say paint it LPM!

Dude that thing is awesome! This is a hard one. I think it looks awesome how it is. But it will also look good painted.

I am going to vote keep it black. Final answer.

I'm going to leave it black for now and see how it grows on me.

That's too purdy to paint.

I see you're coming up for inspection soon as well.

I hope all of these ripoff stations around here don't fail me for the LOUDLY clacking lifters (EVERYTHING else is perfect, NO dash lights, pending codes, or failed readiness monitors. ).

Wow, that is an amazing piece! I have mixed feelings on the look of it though, but I say leave it unpainted to match all the cf inside too.

The more I see it, the more I'm jealous its a one off piece.

Yeah, I bought it pretty much sight unseen and took a gamble and am happy I did.

Looks weird with your hood. Would love to see it on a stock WS6 hood though

Looks like a quality made piece but it looks weird imo. I'd probably just paint the factory piece gloss black if that is the color you were going after.

Leave it like it is. Painting it will actually draw attention to the difference in height between the hood and cowl.

I agree, it is meant for a stock ws6 hood, but I still love it.

Very niice score. I would definitely sport that on my car. Just the way it sits as well, regardless of which hood. Adds to that "in its own class" type of mod.

At first I was thinking paint would make it look better and sort of add another dimension to the hood. But after the videos, I think paint would make it look weird and out of place because of how much extra pewter it would add. Black kind of makes it blend in better.

It's definitely a unique, custom piece. I just hope I don't have any legal issues with it... but we'll see what happens. I don't like that it covers over the VIN tag, but oh well.

The more I look at it, the more I like it.
