Default Who makes the best Ultra Z hood?
I desperatly want one of these, and have seen so many people who offer them. I don't know who to go to for a quality functional piece.

I'm fairly certain that SLP is the ONLY company that makes the Ultra Z hood.

I have seen other aftermarket companies that have them advertised. Im taking it that you guys are only recomending the slp hood, and that it is the best one out there right.

I would like to see pics of a ultraz hood NOT made by SLP.I thought they were the only maker of such a hood

There is another company...is it suncoast? that offers a hood that is similar, but only one company makes the actual "Ultra-Z" hood

Suncoast creations "Z-style" hood that I was refering too.

I've also seen one that looks similar in the NX (nitrous) catalog, but thats the only one like it Ive ever seen...

Only SLP makes it, but other aftermarket companies sell them too. The hoods are drop-shipped from SLP.

That's the Mecham hood with heat extractor. It looks nice, but apparently fitment is a bitch. Before you ask, that's not my car.

That one is quite different. It has a heat extractor in the back, unlike the SLP hood.
