Default Painted Blackwing air box lid

Most of the painted air box lids I see are the SLP PP lid. I plan on keeping my Blackwing, which is a little different in design and has the raised "SLP" and "Blackwing" lettering on it.....

Does anyone have pix of a painted/decal'd Blackwing so I can get some ideas??

Thanx!!

pic of lid as is:

I am looking into getting a blackwing lid and have it painted like my lid now. The lid I have now rubs so I think I may go with the blackwing.

cool!! ....but what to do with those raised letters??? Bryan at Checkered Flag said decals wouldn't work on them......but I'd like to highlight them some way....and then put something else in the space above that.....

Sweet lookin engine bay TazmanSS.

cytruffle, I'd bet Bryan could do just about anything you want to your lid, I love mine. If you saw the picture of what I mocked up and what the lid actually ended up looking like you'd be amazed, they are almost identical.

WOW!!!! Looked at your page.....that lid ROCKS!!! lol.....if you could see the sorrya$$ photochop I sent him.....I doubt he can make heads or tails out of it!

.....and I'd LOVE to get the GMMG!! The cutout was the cheapo solution until I decided whether to do GMMG or true duals.

Hey Millie,

Got your Photoshop and it's not THAT bad!! Anyway, I've got a couple ideas
to throw at you. I'll email you Wednesday afternoon with something I think
will look pretty cool and very unique.
