I just like the look of the firebird dash over the Camaro, And if i did that I was sorta planning on mounting my autometer guages in the center three A/C vents.

LOL, I was thinking to myself--sounds like a lot of work so you can mount some gauges in the vents... and sure enough I open the post and that is what the guy wants to do
Anyways, sure its possible but it wont be fun. Are the radios the same between the two cars? Or do you have aftermarket?

lol, you guys are cracking me up....acting like im some noob that thinks its gonna be MAD cool yo to put my guages in there doode! haha. Honestly I just like the look of the firebird dash better than I do the Camaro, I think its more aesthetically pleasing. Hell I think the whole interior in the TA is better looking. Tons of people switch out the seats and door panels and never catch a load of grief, why me???? I think it would be something unique that would set me apart from the norm that you see every day. Oh and I already have the guages mounted on my A piller.

Some of you sure get pissed easily I have mocked up a T/A dash in my Camaro and everything fits perferct for me. The only thing that may cause a problem for you is the A/C ducting. I say it may because my car is going to be for the track only so everything behind the dash is gutted out. All bolts fit in the same spots and the top dashboard piece that goes against the window fits in perfect. The guages have the same plug on the back so all that is straight also. I will try to get some pics this weekend.

There are a lot of wire harnesses to remove that are attached/held to the inside of the dash, it's a PITA but can be done if you have patience. You'll also have to lower the steering column by removing the two nuts under the dash that hold the steering column up.
There's more small things that have to be done but it's pretty easy

One of the reasons I chose the T/A over the Camaro is because of the interior. I really disliked the LT1 interior on the Camaro. The LS1 Camaro is tolerable but still not as "good" as the Pontiacs.
