Default Pics of my painted valvecover, coilpacks, and brackets...

Before you guys get on me..

I didn't sand the valvecovers smooth before I painted them because they'll be covered by the coilpacks anyways.. However, the parts that are visible are very smooth...

Coilpack - Monterey Maroon Metallic
Brackets- Gunmetal
Valvecovers - Black

Took a Sat. afternoon to get this done..

Valvecovers --- Gloss Black 500 degree engine enamel

Coil Packs -- Duplicolor auto paint -- w/ high temp clear.. Dark Torreda Red or something like that.. It was the closest that I could get to my color..

Coilpack brackets -- Duplicolor Auto paint ( Gunmetal) w/ high temp clear

If your entire valvecover is gonna be visible I would recommend sanding it first.. but since my coilpacks cover most of the bumpy area.. I just cleaned them ( break cleaner) and painted..

Came out pretty good, if I must say so myself..

Looks great! Methinks the color scheme might be a little dark though, in such a cramped engine compartment. What color do you guys think would work well for my coil packs? I couldn't think of anything.

I would do a gloss black.. It would set everything off very nicely..
