I once saw a picture of a TA that had the wing taken off and holes filled. Looked, well, unique to say the least.

Definately not my flavor...

yea we need that wing, the slope is much too steep. to me, it was designed to have a spoiler unlike other cars that are designed w/o one and add one for looks. for our cars its essential !

Think about what the bottom of the line Camaros fromthe late second gen. and the Berlinettas from the 3rd gen look like. Not good at all. You need something to square off the looks back there.

It looks a lot like a Sunfire. I'll try to find the pic.

I took mine off to put my stripes on, let's just say I put it back on as fast as I possibly could.

How difficult is it to get it back on "correctly"? Is there anything else holding it on other than the 8 bolts? I need to fish an XM antenna through and it looks like removing the wing is the only option now...

I didn't think it was difficult at all, kinda scary doin it by yourself though (I can't believe I didn't scratch anything), with a friend it would be a piece of cake. When you put it back on, once you get it bolts from the wing back in the holes in the decklid it pretty much has no choice but to line up right. Hope that helps.
