bolt on hood scoops, such a thing?
i see these on e-bay and they seem to be a good option to a 700 dollar hood, my father in law is the body man, can i bolt one on and glass it in and paint to match?

or yo could do like me and make your own scoop out of 22gauge steel, but then again my hood is not fiber glass. i welded it on, ground the welds and then bondoed it so it would be smooth. you can also make one if you know how to work glass. i am working on a design for a fiber glass scoop. all you realy need is some high density foam and fiberglass mat and resin. Use the foam to carve your mold, set it on the hood and lay your fiberglass over it. once it is dry scrape all the foam out.Instant hood scoop. long process but worth it because of the money it saves you.
By the way i will make scoops to sell. mostly old style stinger scoops all 22 gauge steel. Pm me if you want pics or to order one.
