Why does your paint look like sandpaper?

Sorry.. hadn't wetsanded it yet... bit early for the After now that I think about it ..

I wetsanded it after I took that picture. But unfortunately the panel doesn't fit on the car. It's having an issue with the lock area. The sides fit in but the area around the lock don't go on. I think the lock hole size is smaller or something.. The original that is on the car fits perfect..

This panel I did was off of a 94-95Z. I thought that the rear panels would be pretty standard on the 4th gens.

This is wierd then... I dont' want to force it in fear of breaking the lock. I was thinking about making the whole a bit wider. I don't know what is causing this...

Do you have any pics since getting it on? It was looking kinda rough in the prelims.

Nope not yet.. haven't gotten it on. Had an issue with the key cylinder and the hole on the panel. I'm going to work on that this weekend and try to reinstall it.

I never would've thought about painting the back panel ala "Berger" style, but the more I look at the light colored cars, I think it looks sweet. Of course my car is black so its not an issue. Good luck.
