Cool New Bling - Painted LS6 Intake on my SS!

Well after having the intake sitting on my workbench for nearly a year, I finally got coersed into tearing apart the top end of the Red Convertible and installing the new silver LS6 intake, and getting rid of the Fugly EGR. Thanks to Mark for all his help.

Here's a pic:

More pics in my album.

While we were at it, I replaced the valley cover with the LS-6 version in hopes to reduce the oil consuption problem the LS-1 appears to have, plus it gets rid of a few more rubber tubes.

Be taking the car to have it dyno tuned once the snow is all gone. So hopefully not an all show mod, but will have some added go!

Looks very nice...I like the silver...now I can't decide on whether I should paint my LSX intake silver instead of the black metallic I had decided on...

Looks hot. So does your Berger on my LS1Tech calender! Looks real nice in silver. I have seen them in body matching color - but I have to say, the silver looks real nice. Almost gives it a retro look.

Its about time you got off your lazy *** . I shouldn't talk though, still have to do that, the valve covers, back of the headlights, and finish making all my new chrome engine covers .
