Default Just got the Zaino Kit

Any Suggestions before I start? I have a few days before the rain stops so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, B

Just prep your paint well. Wash, clay, and polish defects as necessary.

When it comes time for the Zaino, use thin coats and you'll be good to go.

OK, understood. I pretty much know what to do with the clay bar and the car wash...but what is the deal with the two different polishes?

Z5 has some slight fillers in it and typically goes on before the Z2.

The Z5 tends to be a tad bit darker, while the Z2 tends to have a brighter shine.

So I should use the Z5 first and the the Z2? I am sorry for what may seem to be stupid questions, however I do not want to make a mistake with this stuff. I have heard nothing but praise about it and do not want to screw anything up.

It doesn't really matter...it's generally advised to use the Z5 first, but all Zaino components are completely compatible/interchangable.

You've got a good color for Zaino.

Thanks, I am really looking forward to using it. I have been wanting it for years, and just never bought it.

Yeah awesome stuff. I used it about a year and a half ago. I've been meaning to redo the whole system, but haven't had time until now...and now the weather is terrible.

The Z5 is a little better at taking out small imperfections, but the Z2 gives the best shine. Just use light coats and put on a lot of it. Man your car will look awesome when you're done. Good luck!

I was very bad about upkeep the first time. I hope to be much better once I get it on again.

IIRC, you are supposed to use the spray cleanser after washing/drying your vehicle. Then just reapply a coat of Z2 every now and then (every few months, maybe up to 6). If you at least somewhat take care of the finish (apply another coat every once and awhile) I think you should be fine.

You should be good for several months at a time, depending on maintenance and environmental conditions.

Zaino isn't made to reduce imperfections. Use a good cleaner and polish before hand to remove imperfections, then use the Zaino to seal it in.

Zaino is the perfect sealant, but as mentioned, don't expect it to remove all your swirls. I use it, and couldn't be happier.
