Default Bought Billet Grille

You're supposed to take the 4 included screws and then just screw it onto the bumper? I'm assuming the screw locations don't line up with the stock bumper clips, and even if they did the hole wouldn't be the correct size.
Has anyone tried putting it on with double-side adhesive tape? The same stuff that has the side molding on the cars. I was thinking about just cutting it into small strips and then putting them on the back of the bars. Anyone tried this before? Where could I actually get some of the adhesive tape if I decide to try it out?

I don't think I've heard of anyone using the tape yet. My billet grille has been on since Dec 2000 with the 4 screws.

Where did you get the black grille? Is it easy to install or do you have to modify it to fit? Thanks

Fits perfectly. Pop of old grill, center billet grill in opening, mark the 4 holes, and drill pilot holes with an 1/8" bit. Attach with 4 supplied screws.

Is the black powdercoated grille from Afterthoughtauto powdercoated a flat black? I got a billet grille and I need to get it powdercoated black. Just wondering if everyone is going with flat black or a satin black?

you remove the front stock grille, line up the stull grille, mark the holes, drill the holes, screw the grille in, takes about 10 mins to do the whole thing, its soo easy. It isnt flat black, its more of a low gloss, its worth it though.
