Default Painted Headlights On The Firebird (pics)

Well its not the actual headlight its more of the trim/plastic piece around the headlilghts but, I was curious to what everyone thought of it.
The car is not the cleanest but I think you can get the idea.

Looks really nice... it's a shame that the lights will only be up at night and you won't be able to see 'em. Looks great though.

You asked for opinions so here it is. I'm not trying to hate on your car though.
-It looks weird to me. I would have painted them gloss black. It has no contrast and the silver and clear lamps look odd... like when a person goes blind and the eye turns grey.

Looks good. You probably won't get to take much notice of them since it'll be night though.

Looks good to me! There is a lot of times your lights will be up during the day. If you drive your car in the rain then you will see it during the day. I dont know about where you are but here it is a law if it is raining enough to have your wipers on then you have to have your lights on. I think it looks great.

Looks good, Im doing mine this year too. In the city you can see them by the light from the street lights. The factory plastic is dull and shows dirt so hey why not. In the end I will probably do a non pop up conversion if the Phamspeed kit works out.

Attention to Detail......I love it. They should have all come from the factory looking like that.

Call me crazy, but I don't like it.
The black kept the shadows from the holes and non-sexiness of the headlight
from being noticed.
Now I can see the headlight for what it is....ugly.

I DO think a high quality black finish would be killer.

Thats just IMO.. If you're happy with it,

hmm i like it and i dont. haha i gotta pewter bird too. its got a real nice custom look, but like said above. it sorta shows off the odd shape of the headlights. im pissed i cant find some kind of nice brighter replacement for the ugly lamps and dull bulbs. but it looks real cool man, esp if u like it. good stuff

Wow that's very unique. It makes the actual light itself look smaller. With the lights on, that mod will probably go unnoticed.
