Default My new mod.

Well here is my new mod. Former hard top, now a t-top. Have about 3 hours into it. All that is left is headliner , prep and paint. Very happy with the outcome so far. Went a lot easier than expected. Here you go......

Yes it is worth it. Decided so after I took a drive sun and wind hitting me in the face. On a scale of 1 to 10 for difficulty, 1 would be changing a tire, 10 would be a engine rebuild, I'd give it a 4. The hardest part of the whole job was seperation of the factory spotwelds. If I had the tools of a body guy it would have been no problem. I just boxed around the spot welds with my dremmel. The next hardest thing was getting the cut roof off. Man whatever gm used, it sure stuck good. As long as you can measure, use a sawzall, use a dremmel and have patience, this is really a no brainer. Just kinda forget about your "baby" and go for it. Once all my detail work is complete, you would never know this was a hard top car unless you look at the rpo codes.
I have had a couple of buddys come by and once they saw it, now they have to have it.
