What is the best way to remover the plastic roof panel so i can put a quarter panel on my car. It is a t-top car, i have heard it is really hard and they almost never come off without breaking. Any sugestions?

When those are replaced, they cut the thing off and glue a new one on. I'm not sure there is a way to remove it without having to replace it.

I'm afraid I can't help you there. There was a thread a while back about roof panel bubbling and an associated TSB. You might search for that thread and see of anyone paid to have it done.

I went and picked up 2 of them today, ended up selling them early for $50 a pop. If anyone needs one talk to that guy. GM does not make them anymore and he has 60 of them left.

I just got done stripping a '99 T/A. When I was going through it I noticed that the entire top section for the car is merely spot welded on. You can drill out all of the spot welds to seperate the top. The only problem is it still wont flex because the attachment to the windshield. If it will help you at all you can have the top section off of my car. I simply sawzalled it of, but the top wasn't hurt.
