Interior modifications that might interest you:
1) Does you center console cover have dimples in it or does it not close
properly. Well mine did at 4years and then again at almost 8 years. Heck
if I'm gonna fork out another $110 a console cover that will go bad in 4
years.
Solution: Take it off go to an upholstery shop and have it covered. I have
black leather seats with medium grain. I just matched the material and had
the darn things covered for $50. Looks better than new.... Looks friggin
awesome. I should have done this the first time. The added plus is now
that it is covered it is softer and more comfortable. No arm indentions
either.
2) Line lock for racers - I installed a enable switch under the dash so that I
would accidently lock the line while on the street. Then I took a flip
and installed a momentary switch conbined with a sm lamp in the console
ashtray. This get the switches out of the way and close to the shifter.
By using a momentary and lock on/off switch I have more control over
what I want. If I am heating the tires I use lock on/off flip switch. If I am
holding the car steady at the line - momentary switch.
3) LED's for the Firebird nose. They look cool when you light up the cavity
with the color of your choice.
4) Shift light in vent ..... self explainatory.
Just thought I would share ..... more later .......

Another idea for #3:
I put red reflective tape on the baffles that are inside the nostrils. The slightest little bit of sunlight, or a headlight at night, makes it glow like a ****.

OK guys, sorry for the delay. I should have suscribed to the thread.
Here's a couple pictures of the console:
It really doesn't look as good under a flash. Perhaps I will add another in the daylight. I will try to get one tomorrow in the daylight. The contrast makes it look a little weird to me. It does look a lot better than the picture shows.
The grain and color is really close. Matches the shifter **** and seats really well. However, I am sure you can match it up even better than I did. But, considering this material was in stock and it is really hard to tell just looking at it I am still very happy with it. People are not going to notice that this wasn't factory.
Here's the original in the sun:
Here's a couple pictures of the L.E.D's:
It was tough getting these shots at night as it was. I wish I had a manual focus digital camera now. Mine only has preset distances. I'll have to steal my MOM's new 7.1MP I helped her pick out recently.
