You can repaint it. I took my Z down to a good body shop about a week ago to get an estimate on repainting it.
Since we're on this topic can someone shed some light on how this happens? I bought my car used, and the carfax was clean. Also, there's no signs of damage or an accident. My '86 IROC suffered from the same condition. I know the bumper can flex more than the paint. I guess my main question is just how little does it take to spider the paint on the nose?
BTW...sorry for the hijack.

I think most starts from scratching or just a little tap and there it goes!

I've got some on mine from an accident. The body shop at the dealership did a **** poor job fixing it. There is a paint drip in the corner lens area, spider webbing, and a few scratches they didn't bother to buff out before they clear coated.

i was told that they would eventually come back because the bumber already has the stress cracks(spiderweb) in it. i was also to ld to just get a new bumper cover.

It's caused by the paint not having a flex additive in it. Be sure when you take it to the body shop you ask them to add a flex additive to the paint AND the clearcoat. A good product is called Bulldog. If they don't use an additive it's going to happen the next time the bumper gets a scratch or is bumped real good.
