Some Pics of my 99 WS6 Clone and REAL VIPER!
Here are some pics of my 99 Trans Am WS6 clone.
The car is almost done, runs like a champ.
So far I have added a Hurst Billet shifter, flowmaster muffler (for sound, not performance), MSD wires, and Delco Iridium plugs.
It already has long tube headers.
Last mechanical thing it needs is a Tranny Mount, like $50 and 1 hour labor tops.
After that I might do a QTP Electric Exhaust Cutout, it makes them sound EVIL when open, but mellow at the flick of a switch for when the wife is driving it.
Only performance mod I might do is an Air filter lid, adds like 10-15 horses for under $100. Also, the car has the ram air hood, but not the Functional Raised lower airbox, supposedly not even worth 5 horsepower, but it would still look cool under the Ram Air hood, and it should be there if it were a Real WS6 anyway.
Just thought I'd keep you posted.

Thanks.
So far I only got the $500 back.
I tried to have a Mediator settle it thru Square Trade, but he never responded.
Next step would be to push it thru Ebay in which case he would surely lose.
My wife says I should just be the bigger man and drop it.
As you can see, the car is VERY CLEAN and it runs great.
Another $500 or even $1000 is not gonna make or break me (thankfully), so I'll probably just be happy with what I have.

Exactly, he is a young guy with a kid on the way, I just hope he learned a lesson.
BTW -
Saw the pics of your silver ram air in the other thread - AWESOME!
In fact, I am just gonna call my car a Ram Air TA, it sounds better than CLONE!!!
Do you mind if I copy???

Not at all, I think it sounds better to just call it what it is, a ram air t/a. I don't really care if it is a ws6 or what. I don't like badging anyhow. I've yet to decide to take off the formula writing on the side behind the tires. I already too off the molding. (looks a lot better imo btw)
You have a nice ride as well. Both of your cars, might I add.

Thanks.
It just sounds alot better and less wordy than explaining the whole story everytime.
The sad thing is, I like driving the TA better than the Viper, I love the V8 sound, especially with the headers.
Don't get me wrong, nothing compares to the BRUTAL TORQUE of the V10, not even my 10 second Stang felt as nasty, but I just love looking out over the 4 nostril hood and hearing the throaty V8.
Thanks again,
Howard
