Try using the same thing as removing adhesive emblems. Heat up the molding with a hair dryer/heat gun, then slip a piece of dental floss or fishing line behind it and slowly run it down.

Heat guns work great, if you can get your hands on one, I highly recommend it, just be careful because you can heat the paint too much and cause problems. My dad helped remove my passenger side molding and by the time he was finished he had something between a hot spot from rubbing, and a heat blister from the heat of the gun. Let's say the glue residue is getting stubborn. What can you use from around the house? i'd rather not go out and buy goo gone if there's something in my garage i can use.

use a little wd40. wd40 is a penetrating lubticant and helps to break up the adhesive. my mouldings came right off with a little fishing lne after letting the wd40 soak in
