Wet Sanded and Polished my headlights
I followed the Sticky at the top for the most part.
400, 800, 1500, 2000 for the different grit sand paper.
Then I followed it up with the Novus 3-step.
I'm pretty happy.. all this for under $35 instead of paying $180 for each new headlight.

Thoughts? Comments?
(mods you can move this to the sticky after it dies out, if ya want )

looks good, is all the haze out of the lights?? I noticed I still had some haze in mine, and used tire shine on them and now they look brand new. Looks good none the less, and definately better than buying new lights.

yeah, they have the slightest bit of haze left... not sure exactly what it's from.
Tire shine? that actually works?.. I'll have to give it a try.
I'm pleased with the results anyway, they aren't yellow anymore.

You pull the bulbs, and put the headlights in the oven. 20 min @ 200 degree's F (preheated). This is the beginning of the "whistler headlight mod". Basically, you heat up the sealant holding the cover on the housing of the headlight, and then pry it off. Scuff up the chrome bezel around the headlights (after you've masked off the reflective portion of the light) then paint it the color of your choice.
